went on a friday night and was seated immediately! it’s my first time trying pani puri shots and we really liked the flavor and texture. the lamb was a bit salty and small in portion, but the salmon was delicious. usually a big fan of the garlic naan, but for some reason we couldnt taste the garlic much. overall service was lovely and we had a good meal:)

Rooh makes some of my favorite food in the short north area. Indian food is a staple in my diet and Rooh puts a nice upscale twist on it without compromising the heart of the flavors. The cocktail menu is also quite interesting but also has some nice basics. If you’re new to Indian flavors it’s a good place to start. I’ve been here several times and it’s usually busy, though this visit was a bit quieter, likely due to the overlapping World Cup schedule. Even then, service was a touch slower than I’d expect for a lower crowd, but it did not impact my experience much. I ordered the carrot halwa cake for dessert, as I always do. Will miss this place very much when I move away.

Stopped in for coffee and breakfast with a good friend on Friday morning just as the Short North was waking up. Sat by an open window and had a really nice meal. Seriously. This tandoori chicken croissant was incredible. Excellent flavors, fresh and delicious. Friendly service, fantastic atmosphere. Looking forward to my next visit. Thank you!

We tried Rooh for the first time this weekend, and it did not disappoint. Our server recommended the sweet potato chaat as a starter and it was probably my favorite dish of the night - amazing blend of flavors and textures. For our main course my husband and I shared the butter chicken and the lamb shank - both were incredible. Since we were celebrating a birthday we got a free mango coconut sorbet which was fresh and delicious. We also tried the strawberry chai tres leches cake which was so unique and amazing. The atmosphere was warm and I’d give the service 11/10. Definitely will be traveling back to Columbus just for this restaurant. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We came for the weekend breakfast cafe β€œpop up.” I had never been before because I’m not keen on the dinner menu (also my partner is Punjabi and gets irked by fusion Indian food), but I was very interested in the breakfast menu (also I convinced my partner to just imagine it was not meant to be Indian food in the first place). I love a boogie egg sandwich, and I was not disappointed. The espresso martini was a delight. The jaggery cookie was great. We came at about 12:30pm on Sunday, so they were out of quite a bit. By the time we left (1sh?), they only had drinks and desserts left. So don’t wait until the last hour on Sunday! The cafe is counter service.
